The Muppet Show (1976–1981) is a family-oriented variety television series created by Jim Henson, featuring Kermit the Frog and his fellow Muppets as they put on a vaudeville-style show, inviting a different celebrity guest each episode to participate in musical numbers, comedy sketches and backstage antics.
